Flowers sent for Super Bowl 2010, Valentine’s Day, or Chinese New Year could make a great celebratory gift

Are you a football fan? Do you intend to plant yourself on your couch or easy chair to watch the Super Bowl 2010 between the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints Sunday evening, February 7th at 6:25 EST on CBS? Even if you are not a big football fan, the commercials and half-time show are always a lot of fun to watch. One idea that could make the day extra fun for the football fan in your life is to send them some flowers from 1800-Flowers. They have several fun-looking bouquets that are guaranteed to be delivered on the same day you order them. I included one example in the picture that includes a cute little bear, some candy to munch on during the game, plus beautiful roses to look at and sniff. Just a fun weekend idea for you to consider!

Plus, who can forget that Valentine’s Day is just around the corner on February 14th? That’s a week from Sunday – hint, hint, hint.

Not only is that day Valentine’s Day, it is also the Chinese New Year – the Year of the Tiger. So there is another holiday that flowers might make the perfect gift for somebody special in your life.

According to one source, Chinese New Year is very much like the Christmas that many of us like to celebrate. They make this a day for getting together with people they love, lots of good food, and the giving of gifts. So, perhaps flowers would be a much-appreciated and thoughtful gift to make on that very special day.

Whether you celebrate any or all or none of those holidays with the sharing of gifts or flowers, I wish all of you a very happy day on all three of those occasions and every day in-between.
