If you live in Arizona, Shasta Pools can help with your Pools and Spas

In the height of winter, I can’t help dreaming about spring and summer when it is pool season in Tennessee once again. If I lived in Arizona, where Shasta Pools is located, perhaps I could be dreaming about pool season right now.

I recently heard from a friend whose grandmother, when she was still alive, lived right next door to a pool. That pool was so cool and inviting. It was most welcome as we were there in the summer time. I recall Phoenix as being sizzling hot. When I visited this friend, I recall how we lazed around in the pool. Perhaps that pool was serviced by the people from Shasta Pools as they are located in Glendale, Peoria, Goodyear, Tempe, Gilbert, and Phoenix – all cities in Arizona. Just look at the picture I found that shows how enticing a cool can be on a hot summer day.

Shasta Pools sells pool supplies. They also help out with all pool repair needs for pools and spas. I can imagine the good folk of Arizona appreciate the fact that Shasta Pools is open seven days a week. That way, if they have a problem, they can immediate get help from personnel with the proper skills, know-how, and supplies. Speaking of supplies, they have over 1000 parts and equipment in stock. They can even help if it is a rare part that is needed. In fact they guarantee that “no matter who built your pool, we have the parts or we can get them.” That is a great asset for people who are in need of maintaining their pool or spa.

Frank Hanna Wears Many Hats

As I was doing some research on various educators, I discovered a man who had a name with a familiar ring to it: Frank Hanna. I realized I was thinking of another man with the same last name; however, I felt rather intrigued when I read some of the information about this man. He is a man who wears many hats.

Frank Hanna is the CEO and merchant banker of Hanna Capital in Atlanta, Georgia. He runs this firm with his brother, David Hanna. So that is a double-sided hat: CEO and merchant banker.

Another hat worn by Frank Hanna is that he is an author. His book, which is coming out soon, is called “What Your Money Means.” In today’s economy, I can see where that could be a very needful book.

A three-sided hat Frank Hanna wears is he helped start three Catholic schools in Atlanta. He is dedicated to school reform. He also is chairing the President’s Advisory Commission on Education Excellence for Hispanic Americans.

Then Pope Benedict XVI named Frank Hanna a Knight of the Grand Cross in the Order of St. Gregory. He also has worn the hats of serving as a Knight of Malta and a Knight of the Holy Sepulcher.

I could go on and on. In other words, this is one very busy and interesting-sounding man. I bet Frank Hanna would have some interesting stories to tell about the various other hats that he wears in addition to the ones I mentioned above.

American Career Group has an encouraging motto I like

I just discovered a website that has the coolest motto. The website is about a company known as American Career Group. Their motto is: “We won’t stop working until you start!” Now I have to admit, I had to read a little further before I got what their motto meant. Once I saw that they are like a staffing agency, then the motto made perfect sense and seemed more apt than ever.

In today’s economy, having a company such as American Career Group makes perfect sense. So many people are out of work. My younger brother was actually out of work for over 7 months before finally getting a job that fits his needs perfectly. I too got work from a number of employment agencies back when I did full-time TEMP work as an administrative assistant. I did that for nearly three years before moving to a town so small that if you blink, you won’t even know you had passed it by. Now I just do full-time writing, storytelling, and blogging about cool things I discover on the web that strikes the fancy of my imagination. Plus, you never know when our budget may change and I will need a company such as American Career Group to help me find a job as well.

So the part of me who loves to research wants to discover more about this group with their great motto. They are located in New York City. They place people in temporary jobs, temp-to-hire, and permanent placement. I had one job that was a temp-for-hire. I actually got hired on full-time after five months. Then their budget took a downturn and they had to lay off several employees including me. The other jobs I took were truly just temporary staffing jobs. My very last temp job actually lasted 11 ½ months.

I see that American Career Group does not charge job seekers a fee. That’s a good thing. That was also true of all the staffing agencies that found me work. What I’m trying to figure out is if they only find work for New York residents or from all over. Okay, I see that their Corporate Headquarters is located in Houston, Texas. Okay, I found the answer. They actually find jobs for people nationwide. So that is helpful to know in case my own circumstances change someday. If they do, then they just might be one of the staffing agencies I contact. Since I blogged about it, I’ll have a permanent record of how to get in contact with them. that way, I will not lose the information.

Ashley M. Stevanovich has a passion for State Flowers

Ashley M. Stevanovich has a passion for State Flowers. The Orange Blossom is the state flower for her state? So here comes quiz time? Does anybody know their state flowers well enough to guess what her home state is?

Okay, okay, I’ll tell you. You don’t have to twist my arm. Ashley M. Stevanovich’s home state is Florida. She actually lives in South Florida. To my knowledge, they don’t differentiate when it comes to state flowers. It is the state flower for all of Florida- north, south, east, and west.

Ashley M. Stevanovich is an active member of Pine Crest School. It is possible she gained that passion for state flowers at that school. Perhaps she got that passion from doing research on-line. Perhaps she has or had a friend or family member who also shared that passion. In any case, that is one of her main interests.

The state I have lived in over half my life is Tennessee. So perhaps Ashley M. Stevanovich would find it interesting to know that the state flower of Tennessee is the Iris. The state flowers for other states I have lived in include: the American Dogwood in Virginia, Scarlet Carnation in Ohio, Rose in New York, Purple Violet in Illinois, Hawthorn in Missouri, and California Poppy in California.
